Whether we acknowledge it or not, our families have a huge impact on us. Our families impact us as children and as adults. 

I have worked with many families, helping them explore: 

• coping with difficult life events as a family 
• helping parents support their children in times of need
• processing/healing after intergenerational trauma
• navigating challenges after the death/loss of a family member
• coping/adjusting after divorce/separation of parents
• managing challenges related to moving or immigration
• helping family communicate in a more helpful manner
• improving conflict resolution

*Please note: I do not usually work with these populations/presenting issues: 

• eating disorders
• autism or ADHD
• substance abuse
• OCD or phobias
• psychosis or other related disorders
• active suicidal or homicidal ideation
• any other issue that may require a higher level of care
• anyone under 13 years of age - I do have a lot of experience working with children and their families. However, as I am currently only working virtually, I am not seeing younger children. It is usually more helpful for younger children to be seen in-person.
